The billboard industry hopes to raise the value of their signs by increasing the area from which they can cut down trees. This initiative would change the outer limit from 250 feet to 375 feet and allow them to cut down everything within that range (the current policy only allows trees that block the view to be cut down). Additionally, there would also be more right-of-ways that would be eligible for cutting.
